Pay off my car (20k), my parents house(100k), my parents cars(35k), my brothers car(20k), pay for me and my brother to goto college(100k?)
Get a real fulltime job that i like, buy a house for myself (~300k), buy a few cars(100k), and still having a good bit left + a good income.

First off, I wouldn't tell anyone in my family because I'm sure they would suck me dry.
I would pay off my house, invest the rest, stay at my job, and live partially off the interest.
However, my attitude would drastically change at work I'm afraid. I don't think I would be putting up with very much crap from upper level management. It might be more fun to just get an odd job working at McDonalds so I can piss off the customers.

I'd probally put it in the bank, and live (mostly) off the interest.

Link, I don't want to come off cold, but natural disasters happen all the time, and human-induced tragedies even more often. Do I do my part to help, do I send in donations? Absolutely. But I'm not going to spend a small fortune (which is the only fortune I have) just for that. If this thread was about becoming multi-billioniare, I *would* send in millions. But it's not.

Okay you have me, gimme my million
Edit: Xue is right about millions these days. A million is very common nowadays, something you will easily earn in your lifetime as a working class person. That doesn't mean you can save that much but with a couple, they probably could. Million = working class now.

considering 1 million dollars really isnt very much Id stick it all in savings and after a few years live off the interest.

i'd put it on the bank and watch all the money loving ladies coming to my house asking me if i want to go on a date. And i would turn em all down, coz i hate money loving ladies.
(bad run-in with one, dont ask)

Bullshit, I come from a family of teachers, and they will never see 1 mil. Its true that 1 million dollars dosent go as far as it used to, but thats still a lot of money.
Being a millionare means you have 1 mil in your bank acount, not something that most working class people have.

I'd spend it on drugs and hookers...
I'd also buy some serious gaming equipment and a nice little flat in Berlin where I can store all the stuff..
But mainly I'd spend it on drugs and hookers

Witchblade you were thinking of me! w00t <3
Manderlock I guess you are right. We have to remember by the time we are old wondering why we don't have a mil in the bank, what we do have prolly won't go far when a cherry coke costs 100x more than it does now o_0
